Obituary of Susan Marie Belanger

SCHENECTADY – Susan Belanger, 79, passed away on July 8, 2022, at Schenectady Center with her family at her side. She is now at peace, free of pain and confusion and in the arms of her husband Nelson, the love of her life for 58 years. She was born on June 14, 1943, in Southington, Conn. She met Nelson, had three children, and moved to Saratoga Springs, NY to raise their family. She stayed at home while the kids were little, then worked as a bookkeeper. Later in life her and Nelson enjoyed retirement in Florida and North Carolina. Later they settled back home in NY with family. She was predeceased by her husband Nelson who passed away in 2020. Susan is survived by her daughter Michele (Tim) Monahan, daughter Diane (Mike) Sullivan, son Gary Belanger, grandchildren Kara, Zachary, Jayson, Morgan, Thomas and Gracie, great-grandchildren Aiden and Reagan. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Middlegrove Cemetery, 400 Middle Grove Rd, Greenfield Center, NY 12833.
