Obituary of John K. Chicoine, Sr.

TROY - John K. Chicoine, Sr., 72, of Troy, passed away on March 2, 2023, surrounded by family. John enjoyed collecting items, watching The Simpsons, online shopping, and helping others around his building. He looked forward to having early morning coffee with his son, John, Jr., and being surrounded by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. John leaves behind his son John, Jr., his daughter Tammy, his six granddaughters, two grandsons, his five great grandbabies, and one surviving sister, Frances, as well as his friends at Burns Apartments in Troy. John was predeceased in death by his late ex-wife Susan (who was the mother to his four children). He was also predeceased in death by his two of his sons: David and Tommy, as well as his granddaughter Juliyanna. Lastly, he was recently predeceased in death by his wife Lori, whom he married in 1992, she passed away in 2021. John will be missed for his laugh, his jokes, his smile, his tight warming hugs, but most of all, his warm-hearted personality. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
