Obituary of Alice M. VanDenburg

COLONIE – Alice M. VanDenburg, 86, of Colonie, entered into rest in the comfort of her own home on March 16, 2023. Born on November 18, 1936, in New Hampshire. Alice was the daughter of the late Melvin and Beatrice Deblois. She formerly resided and was educated in New Hampshire and lived her adult life in Colonie, NY. Alice worked in accounting for all her career. She was formerly employed by Charter Concord Construction in Albany NY and Bridal Gallery by Yvonne in Latham NY. Beloved mother of Sandra Lee Harkins of Colonie, dearest sister and sister-in-law of: Hazel (Joe deceased), Ruth (Donald deceased), Alton (Shirley deceased), Eula (Frank deceased), Bessie (Richard) and Lorraine. Alice is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as stepchildren, and step-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, and some of her in-laws, Alice was also predeceased by her husband Bernard Edward VanDenburg. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Prayers will be offered by graveside at 11 o’clock on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany, NY 12205.
