Obituary of Barbara J. Wolf

CLIFTON PARK – Barbara J. Wolf, 81, of Clifton Park, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 9, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite Tabushing. Barbara was the beloved wife of David F. Wolf for over 47 years until his passing. She was devoted to her family and was proud to stay at home to take care of her children. Barbara loved all animals, tame and wild, and was known to have fed all creatures that showed up at her property, especially birds. She was also a gifted artist and teacher. As an active Member of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park, she taught several religious classes for the CCD program. She designed and created banners for the church that displayed her great talent as an artist. Over 40 years after their creation, the banners are still on display. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased in death by her sister, Joanne (Al) Smoot. Survivors include her loving children, Peggy (Wayne Face) Wolf of Chase City, VA. and David Wolf II (Audeliz Matias) of Ballston Spa. Barbara is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Barbara also leaves behind her loving and loyal friend, her cat Abigayle. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and always be remembered in our hearts. Let us honor her by being kind to animals. A Memorial Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park was held on May 8, 2023 Her ashes were placed to rest beside her husband in the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery during a private service.
