Obituary of Catherine McElroy

RENSSELAER - Catherine McElroy, 63, of Rensselaer, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023 in the comfort of her own home under hospice care. The daughter of the late George, Sr. and Jacqueline Kilcher, Catherine was born on September 14, 1959 in Albany. She is survived by her children: Tracey (Christopher), Brian (Casandra), Jennifer (Matthew), Jessica (Ryan), Keriann (Eric), Her Grandchildren: Keith, Brittany, Devon, Topanga, Kymber, Gage, Katelynn, Jordan, Syren, Kody, Julianna, Carter, Matthew Jr., Danika, Erica, Olivia, Ryleigh, Alexandria and Kayson. Two great grandchildren: Amelia and Paisley. Catherine is also survived by two sisters: Doreen (Phil) Foust and Mary Reinhart. In addition to her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her loving husband Brian, Sr., and her brother, George Jr. Catherine's family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to: Dr. Ronnie Luyun and his staff at St. Peter’s Oncology for their wonderful care and compassion towards our mom!!! In accordance with her wishes, Catherine was cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to: Simple Choices, Inc.
