Private Services

Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Upon Linda’s request, as she wanted only something simple and quiet, she will be cremated and there will be no calling hours. A small informal memorial service may be held at her family’s convenience. Final burial will be interment with her husband in Forest Park Cemetery, Brunswick.

Special Thanks & Donations

She wishes to thank her family who loved her and those who were her friends in life. Donations can be made in her name to Operation Snip, 195 Second Street, Troy, NY 12180 or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.

I’m so sorry to hear of my cousin Linda’s passing. Her brother George and I grew up together in Greenfield and were very close and Linda and her family were always part of the Kostka family gatherings in Greenfield. Condolences to all her children, her husband and cousin George Waddell. She will always be in my memories and prayers.

Drew and family, I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I enjoyed many years of working with Linda (and you!) and she was a asset to the NYS contracting program. I valued her advice and her wisdom as a coworker and she was also a lovely person to have the privilege to know, sincerely, Paula Moskowitz

Drew. The Operation Snip community was saddened to learn of Linda's death. The two of you were amazing rescuers of stray cats. We hope that Linda's spirit lives on in you and your family, whether 2 legged or 4. Our condolences to you.
