I was fortunate to reconnect with Laura recently. We attended JCA together. We sure wish we looked the way we did then. But beauty fades and wisdom steps in.Adrian was blessed with aging with a debonair looks equal to Carey Grant. But it was Adrian's wisdom, kindness, intelligence, humour, thoughtfullness, and the feeling that you were the only person in the room when he spoke to you.I feel blessed that I was able to meet Adrian.Although the time was short,or not long enough, Adrian gave me a feeling of total acceptance and love.He listened to you.He didn't just wait until he could speak. His gentle soul was apparent as soon as he stepped into a room.I also sensed a lion, ready to protect those he loved. He was old school.Charm, manners, and a warmth that lit up a room.I feel that my friend Laura was truly blessed to have found a man that understood loyalty, devotion, and unconditional love.I feel blessed having Adrian's light shine on me.Goodbye Birdman of Colonie. To me, you are not gone, we will meet again.

Will always remember the pony rides you use to give me. You would put me on the back of one of your ponies and lead him all around your yard. When my father and I would come to visit, you would always let me help you feed the many animals you raised. Your smile made me smile, you were my Moms only and little brother. I truly believe we will all be together again. Thank you Laura, for all the smiles and loving support you gave Uncle Abe.

Uncle Abe and his family are forever in my memory - I have enjoyed every moment I was ever able to spend with them. I most remember his beautiful blue eyes always sparkling with some joke and his quick ability to laugh. He will be greatly missed.

So quiet at first, sitting out by the lake during our chatty family gatherings. Later, conspiring with Mom, playfully laughing, loving Laura, loving the Mohawk valley and music. Keeper of stories, of pigeons, of your home, and drawer of Viking wagons and gypsy dancers, signed Love, Laura and Adrian. I will miss you so much!

You didn't have to be in the room for long with Laura & Adrian to know they loved each other. With Adrian's twinkling blue eyes looking into Laura's big eyed innocence you couldn't miss the love. Then smiles spread across their faces till rosy cheeks prevailed & laughter ensued....that was just the moment my heart str
ings tugged and joy filled the air with the warm embrace of LOVE. You are missed Adrian. May you rest in peace dear brother. Love, Celeste

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time Laura, and Family.
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted - the rose blooms there-
its beauty even greater now, nurtured by
God's own loving care.
