Dear Peters Family,
Both Carson and Gertrude were good and loving friends to my parents, Michael and Pauline Pearl. My father and Carson worked together for years and the families enjoyed visiting and cooking great dinners for each other. But Carson played a more important role in our lives then you may even know. When my sister was born in 1949,she was a RH negative baby. A very serious condition at that time. She was in need a blood transfusions and Carson responded to a sign that was posted at work. I don't even think he knew my father that well at that time, but he came forward and contributed blood. God bless him.
He will remain in my prayers.
