Marybeth became a close and highly regarded friend in the last two years of her life, and I find myself filled with gratitude to have known this remarkable woman. She had a keen wit and lively mind that knew no barriers due to the personal courage and conviction she had about literally anything brought to her attention.
She made me laugh all the time, and playing music with her,(Our favorite pastime) was always richly rewarding. She had a sparkle and a depth to her voice and could sing all styles with grit and grace.
Then there was the sweet relish of enjoying just the right Starbuck's coffee together, complaining about politics, and theorizing about Theologic and Philosophic beliefs. This renaissance woman seemed to know so much about everything. She was an artist and her paintings were as moving as any I've seen in my life.
Marybeth; you were and are a blessing to my life - and I will look forward to the day when we meet again... and it too will be sweet.

To Marybeth's family and close friends:
I knew Marybeth through work, when we were both graphic designers in the Capital Area. Always there with a smile, a friendly word and and a helping hand. She and I lost touch over the last few years, but I remember her as a person of wit, humor and grace. I am sorry for your loss.

To Marybeth's Family
I am so very sorry for the passing of Marybeth after such a difficult time for all of you.
I met Marybeth through music and enjoyed so much the fun with her playing music and meeting her brother and being introduced to his music. Marybeth had such a unique rich female voice and smooth playing style that provided much motivation in my music endeavors. I have a wonderful memory if her singing a song one night and trying to learn that tune based on her performance. When hearing or attempting to play that song in the future, I will always think about Marybeth. On a recent visit with Marybeth, I saw her artwork. The pieces I saw were very calming and tranquil. There was a visual sense of peace in the nature that she painted.
While I did not know Marybeth for an extended time period, I am so glad to have crossed paths with Marybeth. Her song she sang that night will keep her in my memory. My condolences to all of her family.
