Obituary of Michele Costello

Michele E. Costello, 63, of Schenectady New York, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 30, 2023. Michele was born and grew up in Rotterdam, New York with her parents Judith and James (Douglas) Yuille, her sister Lisa, and her brother Douglas. She graduated in 1977 from Schalmont High School and completed some college at Schenectady County Community College. Michele loved her two grandsons, Robert (RJ) and Nathan Costello more than life itself. She enjoyed weekend sleepovers, going to the movies, kayaking, and camping with them. Michele also deeply loved her son Robert and her daughter-in-law Brittany Costello. Michele worked for the New York State Department of Education for many years and enjoyed her job immensely. Michele was predeceased by her mother and father Judith and James, her brother Douglas, her grandparents Edna and Albert Villano, and Jenny and John Yuille. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her sister Lisa, brother-in-law Joe, her son Robert, daughter-in-law Brittany, her nieces; Jenny and Jamie, and nephew Jacob Ayers. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A private memorial will be held to celebrate Michele's life in Sacandaga, a place that Michele loved since she was a child.
