Obituary of Albert Pailley

COHOES – Albert Pailley, 74, of First Street in Cohoes, passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital on July 6, 2023, after a long-fought illness. He was born and educated in Troy and was the son of the late Paul and Claire Pailley. Albert was a hard-working steel worker, and a proud union worker that enjoyed his drum and bugle corps, his Yankees, Giants, and Syracuse University athletics. Albert also enjoyed going to Foxwoods, Saratoga races, fishing, playing cards, bowling, billiards and participating in dart leagues. He would also volunteer his time with community events and youth sports. Albert was predeceased in death by his wife, Mary Pailley, and is survived by his son, Allen Joseph Pailley of Cohoes. Albert is also survived by his sister, Maryann Delair Pailley, his brothers: Paul Pailley (Linda) and Frank Pailley, all of Troy. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with Albert’s Family on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 5-7PM in the Chapel of Simple Choices, Inc. (inside The Riverview Funeral Home) located at 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 7PM in the funeral home.
