Obituary of Carol A. Oathout
TROY –
Carol A. Oathout, 81, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in the State of Missouri on March 8, 1942. She was raised in Albany and lastly resided in Troy for over 30 years.
She was the wife of over 50 years to the late George W. Oathout who passed away in 2015.
She is survived by her children: Margaret Radley (Jerry), Robin Seeger (John), Kenneth Radley, Carol Orton (Robert), Georgianna Goodbred (Frank), and Anne Wellington (Steve).
Carol was blessed with 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Carol was predeceased by one daughter, Mary Oathout, she passed in April 2023.
She will be sorely missed by her family.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with Carol’s family on Sunday, October 22, 2023 for a memorial gathering from 3-5PM at: Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180, where prayers will be offered at 5PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may offer a contribution in Carol’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
