Obituary of JoAnn G. Campbell
VOORHEESVILLE –
JoAnn G. Campbell, 64, of Voorheesville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on October 6, 2023.
JoAnn was born on April 16, 1959 in Albany and was the daughter of Catherine E. (Czwakiel) Sasso and the late John Joseph Sasso, Sr.
JoAnn studied computer science at Hudson Valley Community College and was employed by the New York State Comptroller’s Office before moving on to Human Resources for Newkirk Industries.
JoAnn loved going on her daily walks and being in the sun. She cared for many cherished pets throughout her life and felt love for all animals. She enjoyed conversing with friends and laughed often. JoAnn was especially fond of old time comedies. She was beloved and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her former husband, Andrew Campbell, and their three children: Chelsey Campbell, Ian Campbell, Dustin Campbell (Jessah Price) and JoAnn’s granddaughter: Elianah. JoAnn is also survived by her three siblings and their spouses: Kathryn Graziadei (Robert), Lori Morrell (Nick) and John Sasso, Jr.
In accordance with JoAnn’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Prayers will be offered in a private graveside ceremony for her immediate family in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
