I was sorry to learn that John had passed. My father suffered a dramatic turn in his health and was at Albany Medical Center when John was brought in around the same time - sharing the room. I spoke with him a couple of times and could immediately tell that he was a true gentleman and a fine and accomplished man. When my father was discharged, I went over and wished him well. We shook hands and he wished my father good luck. I was very sad to learn of his passing. My he rest in peace.

I just found out tonight that John passed, and I’m so sad that I didn’t make the memorial service. I have known John all my life as my grandmother babysat him and Mary. A wonderful woman I called grandma Ruth and he called “Free” because when he was small, he couldn’t say Freleigh! Whenever we needed him, he was there for us and we’d sit for hours talking in his office I’m sure he’s in heaven with his kilt on and his scotch in his hand enjoying the people that passed before us. My condolences to the entire family. He loved everyone of you and always talked about you every time I seen him, may God bless his soul
