Obituary of Margaret W. Robinson
SCOTIA –
Margaret (Peg) Elizabeth Robinson, 86, passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2023 after a long illness.
Margaret was born to Maude Marshall and Jack Featherstone in East Syracuse on August 1, 1937, the oldest of two children. Margaret moved to the Village of Scotia in 1966. In 1983, she met her future husband Edward Stanley Robinson. On November 7th, 1990, Margaret and Edward married in the Scotia United Methodist Church of Scotia, NY.
Margaret and Edward enjoyed traveling to Pine Point, Maine where they stayed at the Sun 'N Sand Motel annually in the summer, enjoying their time at the beach and always dining at the Clambake. Margaret was an avid animal lover, always having a canine companion by her side and regularly riding her horse, Ranger. Margaret joined in horse competitions and trained one of her canine companions to be a therapy dog.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband Edward Stanley Robinson, her brother John Featherstone, her parents Maude Featherstone, Jack Featherstone and survived by her children Jack Williams, Karen Williams, her stepchildren Glen Robinson, Keith Robinson, her grandchildren Tanna LeGere, Anthony Skinner, Joe Williams, Ellie Williams, and her six great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
Her ashes will be scattered where she enjoyed her time with her horse, a spot that was meaningful to her for several reasons.
