Obituary of Michael Gugliemelli
AMSTERDAM –
Michael Gugliemelli, 63, of Amsterdam formerly of Bonita Springs, FL, died January 14, 2024.
The son of the late Maurizio Gugliemelli and Frances Bez, Michael was born on April 21, 1960 in Amsterdam, NY. He received his education from Amsterdam High School, and also while enlisted in the U.S. Army. While serving in the Army he was a Military Policeman.
Mike liked spending time with his family and he enjoyed working at the Shangri-La. In his youth he played baseball and bowling. He liked to watch the football games. Mike was proud of the time he spent in the Army and enjoyed telling stories of his time on duty. Mike was a jokester, who liked to pull pranks on people to make them laugh.
Survivors include 4 children: Candace Gugliemelli, Nicholas Gugliemelli, Anthony Gugliemelli and Ava Gugliemelli, and siblings Frank Gugliemelli, Joann Youngs and Moe Gugliemelli.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. There will be no services.
