Obituary of Stephen Charles Fralick
CAYUGA, N.Y. –
Stephen Charles Fralick, 74, of Cayuga, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 7, 2024.
Predeceased by his mother Ruth and father Jack Fralick, his brother Glenn Fralick, and his beloved dog Bunny.
Survived by daughters: Jeannine Mathews and Jolene Fralick; son-in-law Bo Mathews; granddaughters: Alicia and Ceianna, great grandson Ayden; siblings Joyce Fralick, Gilbert Fralick, Bruce Fralick, Linda Tiefert, Gail White, Carol Fralick, Jackie (Howie) Lewis; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; former spouses Donna Fralick, Sandy Fralick and her daughters Robin Stellman and Keely Stellman; dear friends Judy Alcock Clark, Deb Dinardo, Arlene Barrett, Jim Seamans, Sherri Curtis, and Deborah Roidex and many others.
Steve served in the Army during the Vietnam War and obtained cooking and baking skills which he put to good use after he was discharged. He worked as a baker at French Confections Bakery & Genesee Bakery, then he moved Wegman’s Bakery department where he worked for many years. After hanging up the apron professionally he transferred to the warehouse department of Wegmans and retired from there in 2011. During retirement Steve loved spending quality time with friends and family, as well as keeping busy at the casino, woodworking, and enjoying peaceful days on the canal.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to local chapters of the ASPCA or Animal Rescue, American Cancer Foundation, the Veterans Outreach Center Rochester, NY or to a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
