Obituary of Ann S. Brown
ALBANY –
Ann S. Brown, 80, of Albany, passed away on February 15, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
The daughter of the late August and Matilda (Topps) Samoray, Ann was born on December 20, 1943 in Rockville Center, New York.
She resided in Hicksville, New York, Ridgefield, Connecticut, Wethersfield, Connecticut, and lastly Albany New York. Ann received her education from Hicksville High School and also Berkeley College. She was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and was a member of Jaycee's. Ann was an advocate for women in need.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Christopher (Melissa) Brown and her daughter Alison Brown. Her grandchildren: Noelle Brown and Chloe Brown.
Our family wishes to thank our mom’s best friend of 30 years, Andrea Bergstrom, who was at her side when she passed.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Brown Family has chosen to honor Ann’s memory and mourn their loss in private.
