Obituary of Charles J. Cabral, Jr.
NISKAYUNA –
Charles J. Cabral, Jr., 68, of Niskayuna, NY, formerly of Houston, TX, passed away on February 24, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
The son of the late Charles and Delphine Cabral, Charles, Jr. was born on July 25, 1955 in Somerville, MA. He was raised in Somerville, MA and has resided in Medford, MA, Galveston, TX, Houston, TX, and lastly Niskayuna, NY.
Mr. Cabral was a veteran who served in the U.S. Marines Corps. and received an honorable discharge for his service. He has since been employed as a Home Health Care Aide, a Waiter, and a Bartender. Charles will be warmly remembered for his remarkable sense of humor and generous nature. He loved boating and fishing.
Survivors include his life partner, Richard Keeler, his siblings: Linda, (John) Cabral of Medford, MA, Jeanne (Charles) O'Brien of Medford, MA, Marti (Joseph) Phillion, of Melrose, MA, Mark (Deborah) Cabral of Lowell, MA and Susan (Daniel) Annis, of St. Petersburg, FL.
Charles' family wishes to acknowledge Albany Medical Center and Committed Home Care for their compassion and care to Charles at the end of his life.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A private ceremony at a later date.
