Obituary of Winifred B. Bousquet
WATERFORD –
Winifred B. Bousquet, 102, of Waterford, formerly of Cohoes and Putnam Station, NY, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024.
The daughter of the late Oliver and Maude Smith, Winifred was born on May 10, 1921 in Putnam Station, NY, where she was raised. She has also been a resident of Cohoes, and at the time of her death in Waterford, NY. Winifred worked as a seamstress for many years at Barclays in Cohoes NY.
Survivors include her children: Joseph Archambeault, Rosemary (Philip) Racicot, Linda (Michael) Gregoire, Deborah Lewis-Wells and Kevin Archambeault, as well as many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Winifred is also survived by two sons-in-law: Daniel Lewis and Kirk Wells.
In addition to her parents, Winifred was predeceased by two husbands, Joseph Archambeault and Henry Bousquet, her daughter Maude Gratton-Mancucci, her daughter-in-law, Dreama Gale Archambeault, two sons-in-law: Harold Gratton and Robert Mancucci, her granddaughter Holly Campbell and her grandson, Lance Corporal Harold F. Gratton, U.S.M.C., who was killed in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing in Lebanon.

Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
Prayers will be offered at graveside in the Meadow Knoll Cemetery in Putnam Station, NY on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 11 o’clock. Winifred will be laid to rest beside her late husband Joseph Archambeault.
