Obituary of Nancy C. Carmello

Nancy C. (Flynn) Carmello, 82, of Albany, died on Wednesday December 17, 2014 at the Teresian House in Albany. Born in Albany on Christmas Day, December 25, 1931, She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Levy) Flynn. She worked for the State of New York in Albany for 8 years, and then moved to Las Vegas,Nevada where she lived for 18 years. She loved Las Vegas. Nancy enjoyed collecting dolls, clowns and teddy bears. She was the wife of the late John Carmello, together they were married for 54 years. Nancy was the mother of Barbara Carmello and Donna (Todd) Carmello Wolbert, grandmother of Jason, Ron, John, Gabrielle, and Marissa and great grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents and husband, Nancy was predeceased by her sisters Betty Gephert, Margie Jones, Jean Weinlein, and Joan McAuliffe. Arrangements for services will be private with entombment in the Gerald B.H. Solomon – Saratoga National Cemetery.
