Obituary of Raymond Mark Lowery
ALBANY –
Raymond Mark “Chip” Lowery, 71, of Albany, formerly of Voorheesville, passed away on July 19, 2024.
Son of Rosemarie (Spain) Lowery and the late Robert L. Lowery, Sr., Raymond was born on November 7, 1952 in Auburn, NY.
Raymond, affectionately known as “Chip” by his family and friends, was raised in Syracuse, NY. As an adult he resided in Voorheesville and Albany, NY.
Chip was best known for his excellent craftsmanship in restoration at some of Albany's finest event spaces and homes. He served in the New York Army National Guard and is a proud lifetime member of the VFW.
Chip was sweet to all! Warmly remembered as happy and generous to everyone he met. Chip was an excellent hunter all his life with special marksmanship with his bow.
In addition to his mother, Rosemarie, Survivors include his siblings and in-laws: Robert L. Lowery, Jr., Collin Lowery (Kim Kolarsick-Lowery), Chandra “Dorianne” (Scott) Nash and Denise Lowery. Many nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews also survive.
Raymond was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Lowery, Sr.

Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
A celebration of life for Chip will be held at a later date.
