Obituary of Sharron L. Langworthy (Lamarche)
QUEEN CREEK, ARIZONA –
Sharron L. Langworthy (Lamarche), 75, of Queen Creek, AZ, formerly of Queensbury, NY, passed away in the comfort of her daughter’s home on September 9, 2024.
Daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude Thornton, Sharron was born on September 28, 1948 in Glens Falls, New York. She grew up in Queensbury, NY with her parents and 5 sisters.
Sharron received her education from the Queensbury Union Free School District, King's College, and The College of St. Rose. She shared her love of learning as a Reading Teacher at Queensbury Elementary School. Later in her career Sharron served as a Language Arts Coordinator at Lake George Central School. She was an Elementary School Principal at Hadley-Luzerne Elementary School and Ausable Forks Elementary School where she retired.
Sharron was a prayer warrior throughout her life for family, friends, and some people she never met when someone was in need. Sharron loved serving alongside her youngest daughter in recent years for Walk Through Bethlehem, a ministry focused on sharing the gospel and drawing others to Christ. Sharron loved quilting and in the final months of her life, she completed beautiful quilts for both of her great-grandsons.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Langworthy, her devoted daughters and their husbands: Monique and Todd Agans and Guylaine and Micah Diehl. Her cherished grandchildren: Brendan and Emily Agans, Garrett and Kayla Agans; and great grandchildren Samuel Agans and Hughes Agans. Sharron is also survived by her sisters: Ruth, Terri, Lori, Cindy and Lisa.
In addition to her parents, Sharron was predeceased by her former beloved husband and father of her children, Hughes Lamarche, her Diehl grandchildren, and an infant brother, Matthew.
Our family is so thankful for the support of our mother’s dearest friends Sandy and Jim Clark, The Community Hospice, Saratoga Hospital, and Ironwood Cancer Center for their care and compassion to our mother during her last days.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 beginning at 9AM (EST) at Grace Fellowship Church (Saratoga Campus) 165 High Rock Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
