Obituary of Beverly Sharon Allen
GLOVERSVILLE –
Beverly Sharon Allen, 70, of Gloversville, formerly of Duanesburg and Middle Grove, passed away at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady on September 9, 2024.
Daughter of the late Donald Earl Neison and Elizabeth Jean (Tyrrell) Neison, Beverly was born in Niskayuna on December 15, 1953.
Beverly received her high school education and has been a resident throughout the Capital Region which includes the communities of: Pattersonville NY, Schenectady NY, Niskayuna NY, Bellevue NY, Burnt Hills NY, Galway NY and lastly Gloversville, New York. She also lived for a time out of state in Long Beach, California.
Beverly or “Bev” as she was known by her family and friends, was a “jack of all trades”, she was a stay-at-home mother, a painter, a housekeeper and a deli clerk for Price Chopper in Saratoga Springs NY where she ended her career. She and her best friend Gloria Czub worked many years together as painters and housekeepers and while still maintaining her own home and caring for her children. Bev was an animal lover, she especially loved her Boxers. Animals held a special place in her heart.
She also loved to sew, ride her snowmobile and cooking. But most of all, she loved to be with her family, especially with her grandchildren whom she cherished. She loved spending time with her “dolly” ( Paigey ). She also loved to play her computer games, and playing games with her best friend Gloria. Bev will be deeply missed by all and warmly remembered as being happy, loving, caring, giving, compassionate and generous to others.
Survivors include her children: daughter Jennifer Cenchitz, son Frank Cenchitz, stepson Martin Allen and daughter-in law Sam Allen, her grandchildren: Dillon Cenchitz and Paige Loya, her sisters: Susan Jaquays, Sandra (Michael) Pachucki, Betsy Moehle and Jennifer Cardona. Beverly is also survived by her two former husbands: Frank Cenchitz and John Allen, as well as several nieces and nephews who also survive.
In addition to her parents, Donald and Elizabeth, Dina Bejian, Debra Fake and several Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts.
