Obituary of Robert C. Pleasants

Robert C. Pleasants, 71, passed away February 9, 2016 in Albany, N.Y. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii January 20, 1945, son of the late Robert and Lillian Pleasants. Survived by his wife Diane of 46 years, daughter Kellie Boyle (Jim), son Jason Pleasants (Simone), granddaughters Nicole Pleasants and Kendra Boyle. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Navy Construction Battalion (CB). He was a postal worker, then went on to his own construction business for over 10 yrs. He then retire from Grubb & Ellis as a maintenance technician. He was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman loving every aspect of nature. He also coached many yrs of little league as well as playing softball. Moving to Albany in 2008 he enjoyed retirement, going on various road trips looking for that perfect fishing spot, but his greatest adventure was a cruise with his son and family to Alaska and Denali National Park.
