I'm so sorry about Billie, a family friend and neighbor going back to childhood in Hartsdale/Ardsley. I'll miss her not only for that but also as a fellow librarian. She had an amazing full life, though too short. My condolences to Tim and Bev and family, and all friends.

We will always remember Billie for being the first donor to the Albany Community Land Trust. Once she put her faith in us we knew we had to jump in and start renovating vacant buildings for quality homes for our low income neighbors. Just one of the many wonderful things she did for our community. She will be deeply missed. Wishing you peace.

Tim and Billie's relatives
I am sorry to hear about Billie's passing though I know she is at peace. So her pain is over but unfortunately your pain will remain. I hope you will always have great memories of Billie. She was a co-worker at Education Department and will be missed.

Tim, my deepest condolences on Billie's passing. She was a wonderful person. I will always cherish the years she studied guitar with me. I vividly recall some of the conversations we had about events and music and her wonderful sense of humor. Whenever I would go to the state library to research my genealogy, I would hope that I'd run into her. She will be missed

Good bye Billie. We will miss you. For my part I remember the first day we met at SUNY Albany, the friends we shared in common, the experience of prayer groups and their stories, your support of Mary Liz and my wedding, a long friendship, and your final years. For Mary Liz I know she enjoyed a long friendship with you and it had many great memories such as Celebration House, Your detailed analysis of stories and events, Ice Cream For Breakfast and many dinners. We will miss you.

My deepest sympathy to Tim, Bev, Chris. Peter and all the other relatives. Billie & I had a very long history as friends, apartment-mates, fellow-librarians, music-lovers and charismatic Christians. We vacationed together, and had adventures together on the Maine coast and in the Finger Lakes. She helped me lots of times, as recently as just over 2 years ago when I moved from a house to an apartment. She was one of my most unique friends, and I will miss her quirky, lovely, generous spirit. I do believe she is with the Angels in Heaven, and I pray her family will be comforted.

I will always cherish the warmth with which Billie shared her own writing and considered the work of others. She was always willing to keep the window open to new ideas.
