Obituary of Joanne B. Labriola (Trzcinski)

Joanne B. “Joany” Labriola (Trzcinski), age 75 of Schenectady, beloved wife of the late Fred Labriola, passed away at home on December 5, 2016, after a brief illness. She was born on March 20, 1941 and was a lifelong resident of the Capital District. Her current vocations were, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her past employment included working as a stenographer for Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller. Joanne was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, television shows about cooking and had a fondness for the ocean but, most of all, she enjoyed devoting time to her family. Joanne is survived by her daughter, Laurie Reedy (Scott); her sister, Diane Topolski (Robert Hayner); her grandchildren, Jessica Nowak, Nicole Nowak, Kayla Reedy, Karlie Reedy and Korey Reedy. She is also survived by her nieces, Donna Topolski, Roxanne Roylance; her nephews, Danny Roylance, Rob Topolski (Elissa), and her grand nieces, Darian and Brynn. Services will be private and at the convenience of family. The family wishes to thank The Community Hospice of Schenectady for the care, compassion and kindness shown to Joanne.
