My family (Roy ans shirley ogren) and I used Lee for many many many years for our horses. He was the most honest vet I ever met, obviously out for his clients well being and not just to make a buck. He was personable and always in a great mood. He will be greatly missed......

Dr. Schechter was our vet for many years. He was kind, considerate and so knowledgeable. I knew I could always depend on him to give my horses good care and compassionate to me at difficult times. I will always miss him.

We were sorry to hear of Dr. Schecter passing. He was our first horses' Thunder, and Pasha's vet. This was 35 years ago. He was a very caring man, always looking out for the horse and owner. May he rest in peace.

We are so sad to hear of Lee's passing. From the time we had our first horses until his retirement he was a faithful vet and a good friend, seeing us through good times and some not so good. Rest in peace, Lee.

I was overcome with sadness reading about the death of Dr. Schechter. He cared for my two horses . Both rescues for several years. When the time came for euthanasia he was incredibly kind. I think he felt the loss almost as much as I did. Dr. Lee had a quirky sense of humor and he always had a twinkle in his eyes. It was evident his love of horses and the people who owned them. The world has lost a tremendous equine advocate.
I send my prayer's to his family in this time of sadness.

Dr. Schechter took care of my horses when I was a teenager. I got a horse as an adult and was pleasantly surprised that he was the barn's vet. My horse got very sick and accrued thousands of dollars in bills. Doc put my horse down and was so compassionate about it. He never once asked about the money I owed him. I sent him $100 a week until it was paid. He was a good man and I was sorry to see he passed.
