Dorothy was such a beautiful, gracious, kind, loving and gifted lady. It was such a gift to know her and to sing with her in our choir. Her passing feels like such a loss in our small community, but I remember her daily as, last August, she gave me custody of her hibiscus tree which is now in my upstairs guest room for the winter. Many among us remarked how Dorothy‘s ladylike demeanor belied her amazing self-sufficiency and independence.
I am sending my most profound and heartfelt condolences to all of Dorothy‘s loved ones.
