My heartfelt sympathies and love to Nancy, Rich, Bradley and Tayler... I so loved meeting Gerri on my trips to Albany. Nancy, you were such a wonderful daughter to her, you looked after her with such care and love. It didn’t matter that you had to travel long distances earlier in her health decline.. I witnessed that for myself.
When she was settled in her lovely apartment closer to you (I can’t remember the location, sorry) but you took such wonderful care of her... At times, she was like a willful toddler... she so needed to keep her independence.... AND you let her!
I feel so enriched through meeting Gerri... she had a wonderful sense of fun and IS an inspiration that when (if) I ever get to Gerri’s age that my children might treat me with the understanding and love that you have shown to your beautiful. Mother.
