Obituary of Dora Piccone

Dora Piccone, 94, died on April 3, at Ellis Hospital of pneumonia. She is survived by sister, Lena Panetta of Kingston, Ontario, three children-Ilia (David) Yohay, Carl (Janice) Piccone and Sandra (Mitchell) Brill, four grandchildren-Michael (Brittany) Yohay, Sarah (Benjamin) Eaquinto, Alex Brill and Morgan Brill. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Zahara Yohay. Dora was born in Ovindoli, Italy and was married to Odoro Piccone, who died in 1982. She never remarried. Per her expressed wishes, she was cremated and her ashes mingled with those of a beloved pet “Naco” Given the Corona virus pandemic, there will be no memorial service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly recommends a contribution to Ellis Hospital in her name.
