John is my First Cousin and was always a brave heroic man. One day my first wife tried starting a barbecue fire with some gasoline I had in a can. The flame erupted around her and Johnnie dove through the fire to get her to safety. Quick thinking with no hesitation saved her. USMC in action. I'm retired USMC and I both love and I'm proud of my cousin. Hopefully we make it through Boot Camp after death and dwell together with our Families and Jesus Christ forever. Semper Fi John.

John was at every Vietnam Reunion in Greenville, NY area, starting in 1999 -2020. All 20 years. John was part of the AmTrack (Marines) that started the reunion. Which I have known sooner, John was a good friend, and brother in arms. Rest in Peace brother. Jim Sill
