Obituary of Sandra L. O'Connor

Sandra L. Raymond O'Connor ,60, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home.
Born on October 15, 1951 in Lowville NY, she was the daughter of Joan (Parkhurst) and the late Richard Raymond.
Sandy was predeceased by her ex-husband and good friend John Brennan. She was the beloved mother of Steven, Michael, and Daniel (Christina) Brennan and cherished Grammy of Anna Bess Brennan, and the late Sean Frederick Brennan. She was the sister of James (Kay), David, Susan, Mary-Jo Mushtare (Bruce), and Becky Evans (Eddie). She was the wife of Edward O'Connor and also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and always considered herself a second mother to Matthew Campbell and Jason Slyer.
Sandy was an employee for many years of Quigley's Restaurant, where she was always a source of entertainment for her loyal customers and friends.
Sandy was an avid NY Jets and trivia fan, a lover of all animals except spiders. She loved the smell of fresh lilacs and to dedicate all her time and energy to her family and friends, always the best hostess and willing to do anything for anybody. But most of all she loved being a Grammy and her grandchildren were the rays of light in her life.
In keeping with her wishes funeral proceedings will be private for the family. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at Quigley's on Wednesday April 25, from 5pm - 8pm, 593 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, NY.
