Obituary of Teresa A. Jordan

ALBANY – Teresa A. “Terry” Jordan, 63, of Albany, formerly of Keene, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly in the comfort of her own home on July 24, 2022. The daughter of Conrad and the late Nancy (Grayson) Knapp, Teresa was born on October 2, 1958, in Potsdam, New York. Teresa was a resident of Keene, Albany and lastly Colonie. She received her education from Mildred Elley School of Business and was employed by the State of New York. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband of 33 years, James “Jim” Jordan, whom she married on August 5, 1989, and her son, Daniel Jordan. Also surviving are her siblings: Brian (Kelly) Knapp, Donna Knapp (Joe Velez), David Knapp and Lynn Hannah. In addition to her mother, Teresa was predeceased by her grandmother Susan and her brother Kenny. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Teresa’s Memorial Service on Sunday, August 7, 2022, beginning at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Reber United Methodist Church, 214 Reber Valley Rd, Willsboro, NY 12996. Following the service, Teresa’s ashes will be scattered at the farm where she grew up, located at: 330 Alstead Hill Road in Keene, New York.
