Obituary of Nathaniel John Cumo

BRUNSWICK – It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Nathaniel John Cumo, age 16, of Brunswick, who died tragically on September 12, 2022, from injuries he sustained when struck by a motor vehicle. The son of Stacy Ann Conklin and John Keven Cumo, Jr., Nathaniel was born on January 31, 2006, at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York. He was a student a Tamarac High School. An outgoing and fun-loving young man, Nathaniel will be warmly remembered for his beautiful smile. An excellent student, beloved by his teachers and classmates, he was well known in his community. Nathaniel loved his canine companion, Dixie, who was with him at the time of his death. In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings: Kaylee, Matthew, Isaiah, and Daniel. Also surviving are maternal grandparents Freddy and Terry Conklin and his paternal grandfather John Keven Cumo, Sr. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive. His beloved dog, Dixie, also survives. Nathaniel was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Marion Demarsh, who passed away in 2021. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
