Obituary of John J. Lange

ALBANY – John J. Lange, 55, of Albany, New York, formerly of Cheektowaga, New York, entered into rest on October 1, 2022, in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Herbert and Karen (Turner) Lange, John was born on July 12, 1967, in Lackawanna, New York. He was raised in Cheektowaga and graduated high school. He resided in Albany up until the time of his death. Mr. Lange was employed by Vinyl Deck and Fence in Schenectady as a crewman. John will be warmly remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father of 8 children, a caring brother, and a longtime Buffalo Bills fan, who enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Robin (Sousa) Lange, whom he married on November 16, 2002, in Cheektowaga, New York. His Children: Raymond Lange, John Lange, Kevin Lange, Angelia Lange, Dustin Lange, Sophia Lange, Nathan Lange, Skylar Lange. His siblings and their spouses: Debbie Lange (Tony Ricottone), Jean Lange (John Hoagland), Michael Lange (Lisa Arber) and Kevin Lange (Tina Amato). Several nieces and nephews also survive. John was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Karen Lange. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Lange Family has chosen to honor John’s memory in a private way.
