John is best remembered by his superb intellect, way above most of us around him. He had very fine analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture--a rare gift from God. John will be missed very much. We were the same age and started with the Federal Govn't at around the same time. It was great being around such a tower of a man for 20+years while at SSA. May God share his generosity with you like you did with us.

I'm so grateful for having known John for so many years, as a co-worker and friend. John always saw the good in people--even when they deserved much less. I'll never forget his kindness to us when our daughter died. Farewell, John.
