A lot of great memories. I loved him like a brother. He was my mentor. Always there when I needed him. Will miss him greatly. RUSTY NUTT’S garage won’t be the same. God bless your family! Love Jim

What a great human being!!! If either of my sons becomes half the man Rodney was, I'll have been truly blessed. Such a huge loss. I send my deepest condolences to the family. After Rodney retired (I had the distinct pleasure of being a co-worker), I brought my cheap little car to his shop in West Fort Ann and he changed my oil for me. When I got in to leave, he offered a rag to wipe off the dashboard which was consistently dusty. Who takes the time to dust off the dash in a cheap little car? I laughed and said is was a style choice. Well, Rodney, I promise to always keep my dash dusted off in honor of you. Rest easy, you've earned it.

My condolences will forever be with the family. Growing up Rod and Debbie were neighbors behind me in Lake George. They made growing up easier. I remember days where they were outside on their deck talking and laughing with family and they always stopped and said hi when they saw me outside. I grew up with them, we always called them gram and gramps even though biologically they weren’t but they were to me. They may not have been blood grandparents but they did a lot for me. Anytime I was outside gramps was always outside working on something. I remember him building the fire pit in the backyard and I’m sure I was the biggest nuisance ever but he still stopped to talk to me. Every weekend I walked up to their front door and knocked “is Xander here? Can he come out and play” even when he wasn’t there they still took the time to talk to us. Anyways, long story short Rod was VERY loved. His family loved him and my family loved him. He gained his wings and I’m sure my mom was there to greet him and thank him for everything he did for us growing up. My condolences and love goes out to the family ❤️
