Shalom Cathy, Rachel, Aviva and Aaron and all who mourn
Roger enriched my life for over 40 years. First by studying for the CPA exam together around 1980. We continued a life long friendship that included many intense discussions of religion morality and politics (much of which we agreed upon but not all). It is a testament to his strength of character and compassion that we could discuss such issues and still laugh and end with warm wishes. I was honored to be able to spend time with him near the end of his earthly journey and affirm his life and share his struggles and joys. Roger choose to be with me during a very difficult time in my life when my former wife passed unexpectedly.
As our former boss, Tobin Cash, CPA wrote to me, " Zichrono L’Bracha - May his memory be a blessing".May his grand-kids carry on his legacy of kindness yet speaking with a prophetic voice of justice. Shalom, Al Johnson
