Obituary of Kyle D. LaFountain
TROY –
Kyle D. LaFountian, a native of Troy, passed away at home on February 8, 2024 with his life partner Kathy Poore by his side.
Kyle graduated from Troy High School and SUNY Oswego and was employed as a manager at various restaurants. He enjoyed cooking, playing Xbox games with his buddy Keegan, taking long walks, and working out at the Capital District YMCA weight room.
He is survived by his mother Beth Coblish (Raymond), his father Jerry LaFountain, (Jennifer Schulaner), and his beloved sisters Amy LaFountain (Bill Wangler) and Megan LaFountain. He was fortunate to be part of a loving and extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and other loved ones including Kathy and her children.
By request there will be no calling hours or services.
Burial at Oakwood Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
