Carolyn was an amazing person. She has touched the lives of so many people including mine.
It's a very sad day that I find out about her passing after I called her and got a message of a disconnected number. I wish I had time to see her again before her passing.

Carolyn was the heart and soul of the Graduate Management Institute of Union College. She touched many lives -- students and professors. May her memory be for a blessing.

Carolyn was a true "Servant Leader." She was one of the most giving persons I have ever known. I had the privilege to serve on the Schenectady City School Board with her, and her gifts of tenacity and integrity were used an asset for the Board. Carolyn saw good in everyone and believed in equality for all members of the community. Her spiritual faithfulness was her steadying point, strong and sure.
Blessings on her family.

Carolyn was one of the most welcoming and kindest individuals I met when I first joined First United. She was always there to greet people and say “good morning”. Carolyn made you feel like family. I will remember her kindness and the ways she touched my life. Rest In Peace friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. Carolyn was a dear friend and one of my choir members at First United Methodist Church for over twenty years. She was always one of my biggest supporters. Carolyn was one of the strongest most determined women I have ever known. She met each challenge life brought her with a deep faith, strength and humor. She set a wonderful example to all who knew her of what it is to lead a full, rich and faith-filled life. She will be greatly missed.

My mom had many friends from all walks of life and all ages. She cherished them and held them close to her heart. In one of our recent conversations, she said she hoped her friends would remember her; and I responded how could they not? My mother was a force of nature. She liked to be in charge, to be the leader, the finder of solutions for complex problems and she naturally preferred it if everyone took her lead and agreed with her. I may or may not have inherited that particular trait.
I will miss you mom, I already do. Thank you for hanging on until I could say goodbye and tell you I love you that one last time in this plane of existence.
I talk to you all the time; I believe you hear me. I believe you are whole now, without pain or sickness and you are with those you love and left before you. I believe you are safe and happy and everything you ever wanted to be.
